Region of St Emilion
Unesco World Heritage Center since december 1999, The region of St Emilion, locally called "Juridiction de St Emilion" was created in 1289 by Edward the 1st, king of England and duke of Aquitaine. It comprises eight villages. |

Saint Sulpice de Faleyrens is one of those villages. It is well-known for its menhir (5 meters high) and for Lescours castle which hosted Henry the 4th, king of France. |
